About Me

Experience, Training  & Qualifications

I'm a fully qualified and insured person centred counsellor, currently working in both private practice and the voluntary sector. Particular issues I work with include, (but are not limited to) anxiety, depression, relationship and family issues, work related issues and stress, and many others.

In addition to private work, I have a number of years  experience providing 1:1 counselling for children and young people in schools, working as part of a national charity. I have also worked extensively with service users experiencing issues with substance misuse and addiction problems, and with individuals who have experienced Domestic violence and abuse.

My formal counselling qualifications include AQA Diploma in Person Centred Counselling; ABC Diploma in Therapeutic counselling

I attend regular training courses, workshops and seminars, to keep myself informed and up-to-date with current theories and ways of working.
